Mikhail Surkov, a 10th grade student, received for sure the most valuable award, in addition to the Encouragement Prize. He won the hearts of the exhibitors. The Facebook page of the editorial office of the regional newspaper «Na Varshavke. Nagorny» receives messages from all around the world.
In one of them, 葉容妤 E Young — a girl from the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung, asked to say to Mikhail hello and attached the photo. In the picture you can see our young Russian robotics engineer and E Yung against the background of the exhibition.
Mikhail was very happy, when he found out about the photos and messages from his new friends.
— Thank you, I am very pleased to receive such attention signs. Strangely enough but there were more girls at the exhibition than boys. It seemed like robotics exhibition, but still… I believe that the IEYI 2017 was successful for me. I did get a chance to win a medal, but I’ve become friends with so many people!
A small recall, our newspaper wrote about the fact that Mikhail Surkov took part in the International Exhibition in Japan (International Exhibition of Young Inventors).
At the exhibition he demonstrated his three new robots. The main purpose of these devices is to help visually impaired people. Among the devices he assembled is “Hand of a friend”, which you have to wear on the hand and helps to determine the presence of objects at a distance of up to 150 centimeters. And also the device that hangs around the neck, capable of «seeing» obstacles within a radius of 400 centimeters. Such inventions are not only easy to use, but also to create. According to Mikhail, in free access there is an instruction for assembling these devices and the case for them can be made with any 3D printer.
